CMZ Art on Zibbet

I put a few things on Zibbet
back in February.
Truth is...I've been so busy with Etsy and
an online course...that I kind of 'forgot' about it.
Zibbet is a pretty good little site...and the
folks that are running it are trying
to make it great.
I've put a few items from my
Etsy shop into my Zibbet Shop..
and I'm considering making
the move permanent.
If you've never heard of Zibbet
I wrote a Squidoo lens
to explain it better.

48 HOUR SALE

I'm having a 48 Hour sale in my CMZ Art Etsy Shop. Well, technically it's more like a 56 hour Sale!

It started a little while ago and runs through Valentine's Day.

And....I've made my DECISION...I'm shutting her down!!! For a while anyway!

So, this is the last chance to get most of the pieces that are now in the shop!

I'm going to be pulling everything as soon as the Sale ends and placing the shop on Vacation! I don't have a definite date for re-opening it...I can only tell you that when it does re-open...it will look a LOT different!

A brief note...

I'm finally back to work

on some new textured acrylic paintings

and some regular acrylic paintings.

For some reason, I enjoy working

on more than one painting

at a time. I tend to get 'side-tracked' while

waiting for paint to dry and this way,

I can just set one aside and pick up another.

Hopefully I'll be able to have

several ready to put into the shop

this week-end.

Jaime and I have planned a new

line of fine art pendants

that we are both quite excited about.

We want to have them

ready by month's end

if all goes according to plans.

My CMZ Art Zazzle Shop

has a new look

and new merchandise.

I will have lots of new items

in the coming weeks,

including,

Birthday Greetings,

Valentines,

Easter,

Mother's Day and much...much more!

Change Gonna Come

Well, the New Year is here...and I look for lots of change.

Certainly, we will see history made with

our first black President.

Hopefully, we'll see a positive

swing in the economy.

For me...well

I have added some

new digital art prints

in my shop

that I like..a lot.

A series of birds.

I currently have six different

prints in my new birds series...

and I'll continue to add more,

when I have six new ones finished.

I've reworked a few of my

character paintings

into new, digitally enhanced, prints

and have a couple of these

in the shop

as well.

In the Pendants Plus Shop

I have added some brand new prints

in a

'Robots' Series

and some wonderful little

'Dog' Prints.

Looking ahead to the New Year.

2008 hasn't been that bad for myself and my family.

None of us have 'struck it rich', painted the

next masterpiece or written the Great American Novel.

We haven't hit the lottery and most of the

family live from one paycheck to the next...

but it hasn't been a horrible year...

so I guess I consider it a pretty good year..over all.

I wanted to post a reminder that the

sale I've had going in my Shop

has only five days left.

I'll be putting everything that will

remain the shop back to regular price, beginning

January 1st.

And, in Pendants Plus,

we'll begin including shipping costs

on the items that have had

free shipping.

We had a very nice Christmas,

without anyone going overboard,

and once things settle down

a bit, and all purchases have been shipped,

I'll be starting on

some new pieces that I am hoping

to put in the shop

in 2009.

Sale is almost over!

My two month long sale

is coming to a close.

I still have a few original paintings

left in the Shop

and I won't be painting anything new

until next year.

Everything is marked down

at least 25%

some items as much as 50%.

And, I finally have everything

that has been purchased to date...

shipped out!

Yay!

It's Been One Year

I've had my CMZ Art Etsy Shop

opened for one year now!

My anniversary date was November 2nd.

In 'celebration'

of the one year anniversary

I am having a sale!

Everything is marked down

with one exception...

the mirrors.

I had a sale a while back

and marked them down 25%

and just never marked them back to

the original price...so they're the only items

that don't have a sale tag on them!

I've decided to leave those at the 'sale price'

until they're gone.
