One of the last posts I wrote concerned "one Stop Shop"

of which is...No Longer.

It just didn't work out and so I am just keeping my

Rustic Goth shops

and my

Fairytalez N Fantasiez Etsy Shop.

While I liked the concept of a one stop Shop..I worked very hard

to make it go...with very little reward...

consequently

it was costing me more to keep it up and running

than I was bringing in.

So I'm concentrating instead on my two Etsy shops

and the few places I am offering merchandise...

that's been enough to keep me busy

without feeling overwhelmed.

It HAS been a while

I have been terrible at keeping up with my blogs and even my CMZ art Facebook page...

so sorry.

I guess it's because I don't have as much to talk about...I create new art so seldom...

and new product at about the same rate.

I've run into a bit of a 'inspirational drought'...on all of my artistic

endeavors....

I'm sure I'll work through it though..at this point...I'm unsure how.

so..in the meantime..I'm just creating new product for

my CMZart and Tuscan Art Zazzle Shops.

That will work until I am once again "inspired to create"

hopefully very soon!

My One Stop Art Shop

My CMZ Art Shop on ArtFire

is gradually becoming 

"my one stop art shop".

 

I am moving over all items from my Rustic Goth Etsy Shop

and

from Fairytalez N Fantasiez Etsy Shop

 

and then eventually my items from my

Rustic Goth Zibbet Shop 

 

as well as my

CMZ Art Zibbet Shop

in order to have all of my art centrally located in one shop.

Currently, I am seeing a number of items

'expire' in my Etsy Shops...meaning they have been

listed for four months without being sold or relisted.

Since the items on ArtFire do not cost extra to list and they do not expire,

it seemed placing everything in ONE SHOP was a good idea.

I hope to have Everything moved by May 1st...fingers crossed!!

One Stop Shop

I have changed my ArtFire shop from

Sugar'NSnails

back to CMZ Art.

I decided I really only needed ONE Shop online

totally dedicated to nothing but Art for Kids' Rooms and Nurseries.

So my CMZ Art Shop on ArtFire

will have a little of  'this' and a little of  'that'.

I will still carry some art for Children's room and

I will also carry,

select Rustic Goth art as well as

Tree and Nature Art pieces.

I'm offering more Scrabble Tile pendants in this shop

than any other...

it's kind of a "one stop Shop"

if you will.

CMZ Art Zibbet

I opened my CMZ Art Zibbet Shop

in February 2009

and have never done very much with it.

It's always been a Basic Shop...meaning that I can

only list up to 50 items there...

and I don't have plans to upgrade to a premium shop

at this time.

But...it's a nice little shop...with very nice prices.

And it is 'gradually' becoming the Place for my 

Enchanted Fantasy Forest

Tree Art and Dragonflies

Large Art Prints.

As these prints begin to 'expire' in my Etsy Shop...

they are being moved to my

CMZ Art Zibbet Shop

at Much Lower Prices.

New art for 2013

I am working on so much new art for 2013....

and I am starting with...

"old" art.

These pictures are pictures I did in 1987.

I did a collection of about 10 and have decided

 that I want to

re-do them.

I still have the original paintings...as I painted them

to hang in the rooms of my own children...

but now

I want to update them

and make them 'new' again.

FairytaleZ 'N FantasieZ is now open.

Before all of the craziness on Etsy...in October

I had begun to put together a new shop...

mainly art for kids' rooms and nurseries.

FairytalezNFantasiez.

I thought...wisely, I might add...I would wait

to see what was going on at Etsy

before I put anything 'live' in the new shop.

Instead...I decided to open

SugarNSnails

on Artfire.

Let's face it though...even with all the changes on Etsy...

which I might add that I'm not exactly

fond of...

it still seems to get more traffic

than the other sites I am trying

at least for my 

Rustic Goth shops.

But...to be fair to the other sites...

I've had five years to build a following on Etsy...

back before all the changes...

and the traffic may be coming from the folks'

who favorited my Shop there.

At any rate...I wanted to open similar shops on Etsy

and Artfire...since it now comes down to

SEO rather than renews and relists...

and I am promoting both shops...equally.

Now...we'll see what happens...

TopHatter Auctions and CMZ Art

I recently joined TopHatter

having learned about it through Artfire

and sold my 'Alice in Wonderland - Encore' print set in the

"Thanksgiving with Artfire"

auction at Tophatter on Thanksgiving morning.

Because I am new to TopHatter

and will have to establish myself through sales and feedback,

I am only able to schedule one or two auctions per week and

I have already reached my limit.

I will, however, be posting auctions for three Original Small Works of Art,

little acrylic paintings on 140# Watercolor Paper,

as soon as I am able.

The first auction will be for the above painting,

The next will be for

CMZ Art Announces "Sugar N Snails"

I have spent the past Five years 'branding' my

Rustic Goth Art.

Branding and 'getting the word out' about

one's art, shop(s)  is

NO easy task...and it really consumed most of my time.

Now I have 'expanded' the art that I am creating to be

more uplifting and 'cute'...

creating a lot of new pieces especially as

Wall Art Decor

for Nurseries and Childrens' Rooms.

My newest shop is

CMZ Art's - "Sugar N Snails"

I currently have only a few items listed

but I will be adding brand new

Fairytale Art,

My Tribute to Whitney

In spite of what appears to be

a tragic detour in her life...

I have always liked

Whitney Houston.

It's not for me to judge her life

or her death...

suffice it to say..

I think she contributed so much

to the lives of most anyone who has listened to popular

music the past thirty years...

and with that in mind...

I created an image...

my version...

of Whitney.

I had originally posted the image on several Zazzle
products...but it seems I am
not allowed to post anything 'resembling' Whitney
as it infringes on celebrity status...or something.

Honey Badger products on Zazzle

The video that is going around everywhere,

Honey Badger,
really made me laugh.
It does have some 'language' so be prepared
if you decide to watch the short video.

I guess the popularity of the videos
created a demand for
Honey Badger products...
and with the election upon us..
I couldn't resist creating a few myself.

So...
I did this t-shirt
and I'm waiting for other
non-apparel items
to upload...
with the same design.

I've got a couple more

ideas that I'll be working on in the next
day or two.

What I've been 'up' to...

I'm so busy doing my art...of course...

but now I'm also a Distributor

of a Health/ Nutrition Product that is

hands down

the best I have ever tried.

I've been taking the product since September and it has been

great...

most importantly...I feel great...

and with each birthday that comes and goes...

I've been worried I'll start feeling my age.

That hasn't really happened since I've been 

taking the shakes and the vitamins.

So...I'm now offering a few of the products

on eBay...

and while I'm at it..

I've included a few

'motivational....inspirational'

original art prints

to go along with them.

I'm having to offer the products at

retail...to stay compliant with the company...

but anyone who is interested

Busy...busy...busy

I don't have a lot of new 'stuff' in any one category

in my CMZart Zazzle Shop

but I have quite a lot of 'stuff'

in general.

It's a little hard...with one Etsy Shop,

a Bonanza Shop,

a Fine Art America Shop,

3 Zazzle Shops,

3 Blogs,

and a few other shops and sites...here and there...

to set aside all the time I need for just one.

My Etsy Shop takes most of my time..

as it is my busiest shop...

but I like a challenge..

and I like keeping busy...so...

I do what I can...when I can..

with my other shops.

I have sketched out a batch of designs for Christmas merchandise..

ornaments..and the such.

Hopefully I'll get them finished up in Photoshop

in time for the Holiday Shopping Season.

Oh yeah...and it's my birthday this week-end...

maybe I'll take that day off:)
